Textures & Layering a Bed

Your bed should be the focal point of your bedroom. When making your bed, always tuck your duvet under the sides of your mattress. This always creates a finished smooth line and even surface to the accessories with cushions and throws the top.

Pillows should always be nearly plumped and stacked.

I always use 6 cushions of 3 Types of texture and colour according to the theme of the room. I like to use odd numbers when doing home interiors.

Lastly, I love a either a throw, bedspread or runner towards the end of the bed and to finish, another accent or hue of colour draped across.

So gives the hotel chic boutique appeal.
